I don't mean to make a pest of myself, but for the life of me, despite following Merkle's thread on how to identify AAA players several times, I cannot find a match for any of these Open League AAA players. So if someone out there could identify them for me, I would really appreciate it very much. Thanks to all.

Two prolblems here. First this team was drafted and started play before the upgrade so you're searching in a database where some of the ratings may have been changed after your AAA were already in place. For this upgrade that means that many of the fielding ratings for your AAA players have changed.

Second I checked your league stats and found that the fielding ratings you gave for your 2B and 1B above weren't quite right. B-/D- for the 2B and A/B- for your 1B.

That said I was able to ID your players.

Two had fielding ratings that haven't changed.

Your 1B is the 2003 Lyle Overbay and the C is 1938 Ray Mueller.

I had to go back to a pre-update Open League AAA database I still have to ID the 2B (one of the 190PA 2004 Robrto Alomars) and the 3B (Jim Finnigan 1957) where I also verified Overbay and Mueller had the same fielding ratings pre-upgrade.

AAA searches you do for players drafted after the upgrade should work, but searches across upgrades will always be problematic.

Thanks Merkle, it was a very big help so I could see exactly what I'm working with. If you can find out the rest I would really appreciate it.
