Yeah, I can't see the reason for such a quick pull, even on a 5 pull setting... that seems crazy to me... if it were my team, I know I'd have a ticket in...

and i never understood why the sp would get the loss here. after his 2 earned runs get cleared, isnt he off the hook? or is there something deeper in the rulebook to protect the long relievers

and btw, some pitchers you would like to have a quick hook on, especially in the playoffs. but not in this case

If his team never ties the game, then he's the LP. Not sure it is "fair", but that's the rule.

And crazystengel, c'mon, admit it. You were using the HOF cheat code for "remove my opponent's starter in the first inning and let me feast of the soft underbelly of his Long Bs"

I was a dummy for asking him about the quick hook! It looks like he made some adjustments after that, as he won 4 of the next 5 to win the WS. Next time I'll keep my big mouth shut..
isn't that one supposed to be used in a series-clincher?
