Game 6 of the World Series, top of the 2nd, the opposing pitcher is batting and gets ejected for arguing balls and strikes. Really? I was on the 'good' side of this luck (it happened to my opponent), but still that's totally bogus.

As it turned out, I won the game but lost Game 7 so it didn't cost my opponent the series. Karma won out.

That's what they get for drafting a pitcher with a bad attitude :)

Kinda weird when it happens, but I don't know if we should remove the possibility. The unexpected nature of the game is part of what makes it interesting.

i've never had that happen in a game I was in, but i agree, that keeps a "human" element in the sim

Some obvious mistakes need to be removed from the SIM. A pitcher arguing balls and strikes is probably one of them. Certainly in the 2nd inning of a postseason game. Has it ever happened? Would it ever happen?

An example of something similar - I noticed in a game (I think it was a playoff game) that, with 2 outs, bottom 9, up 2, my catcher tried to pick a guy off third base. There is NO CHANCE that this would ever happen in a baseball game. Zero chance. I sent in a ticket, and after a brief discussion, WIS agreed and said they'd make a change.

if nobody else is on base, this is not a bad move. why not try to get a free out? there is no risk. if there is a runner on 1st or 2nd, then i agree it should never happen in this situation.

I believe theres a glitch that causes good hitting pitchers to argue balls and strikes while they are batting. We had a thread about this a while ago. My example happened in game1 of a TOC. '25 Johnson got the boot before he ever threw a pitch.

Right after the injuries first got implemented, I had my starting pitcher get kicked out of the first game of the season in the first inning. Can't remember if he got injured, or argued, or what. But it screwed my bullpen fatigue for the first 20 games... that sucked.
