I think there may be great opportunity. From my narrow perspective, prices were raised substantially on fielding and especially the arm of a catcher, so much so that their salary outstrips their actual value in winning games.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing and freely admit I may be wrong. I like freshening things up.

they made an over-correction. now we get to use mediocre fielders we never considered before. I'm going to find out how bad some of these D- range guys are.

Exactly... it's a fresh group of players which has great opportunity for new strategies... you know going in that everyone won't be happy... but you know what they say about that. Some guys you can give a million bucks... and they would still complain... and we've got more than our share around here.
