Just an observation: I'm seeing alot less trading being done in OL after the update. Less teams are using the stragety of drafting 7 position players and using their AAA players, trading for more PA. Everyone now has to have the 5,000 PA....Bob Caruthers may become more popular......

if you draft 5000 usable PA you don't have much use for AAA hitters so there's nothing to trade for. the loophole around it is to draft some cheap high PA hitters you have no intention of using, then send them down for AAA. costs a little money but it's worth it for 2 reasons. AAA hitters are better now, and it should be easier to trade for good AAA because many owners won't need them.

I understand but the whole idea of using the drafting 7 position player strategy is to release all your drafted bench players and use the $ to draft another pitcher. Your course of action is to draft picters with high PA.

I could be wrong, but I don't think your pitchers' PAs count against the 5000PA requirement. I believe the 5000PA must come from your position players.
