That'll help, but you'll probably still have to pitch him tired to reach his RL innings. I had him in a live league, and even there (where I had total control on how to use him) it was tough to use up all the innings. For a stretch of about 30 games I started him every other game (he was usually good for 2-3 innings) but of course that tired out the rest of the staff with appearance fatigue.
I do my best to avoid drafting RPs with a ton of innings and low IP/G. 1984 Willie Hernandez is another good example.
