HOW DO I SET MY PITCHER TO HIT SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN NINTH IN MY BATTING ORDER?

Leave that spot open in your lineup.

If you want your pitcher to bat leadoff, put your other 8 players in slots 2-9, leaving slot 1 open.

If you were also wondering how to type in lower case, you just need to locate the 'capslock' key. Its on the side of the keyboard, between the 'shift' and 'tab' keys.
