Need some opinions about Tiger Stadium Topic

So I am putting together a team that will play in Tiger Stadium. 80 mill is my cap, and it looks as though i will have about 40 mill for staff and bully. Will have AAA to eat up some innings, but what do you guys look for in pitcher that will pitch there. Never really used Tiger Stadium before. Anyways thanks for whoever helps.

you want a guy that doesn't give up any HRs. it's OK to have a higher than usual OAV. even a few walks are OK if you keep the ball in the yard.

with the new fielding it might be tough to deal with a whole staff of deadball pitchers. but maybe not.

Yea I'm scared of the old pitchers right now until some other guys try them and give out their report.

I looked at the 2000 pedro but he scares me with his hr rate.

Right now trying to stay current, have looked at scott, guidry, peters, lincecum, schmidt, just to name a few.

Am i spending too much there or should I look at some guys that have higher OAV without the homers and spend more on offense?

Ruth and Cy say 1893 Harry Staley would work well. Disregard his deadball-era 0.75 HR/9 and 40 HR/9+. 1943 Tex Hughson (.78/49) would work well as a #2. If you need a y to pitch to Aaron and Hornsby, Rube Walberg (.73/55 and a bargain at %5.7M) would be a nice choice.

i think you could go a little less crazy on the pitchers. if you want modern guys, someone like Ken Brett or Bill Gullickson or Bill Singer... maybe even 2009 Piniero. Burt Hooton and Emil Yde are 2 of my favorites.

If you're looking at '00 Pedro money, check out '99 Pedro and '95 Maddux. Both have huge HR/9+ numbers.
