potential problem with AAA Topic

This thought just occurred to me. Suppose you get a deadball hitter in your AAA. That guy's already poor fielding and range are going to get normalized against 2009. Now how bad is he?

good question (although I wish they'd just get rid of AAA players for champs, and open, leagues altogether)

Theres no such thing as getting a deadball hitter in your AAA. All hitters are normalized against 2009 stats.

That's exactly my point... You take a guy from 1887 and normalize him against 2009 and his .887 fielding goes from league average to way off the map.

From TZ:

Generated prospects will not be normalized. They will use their raw fielding percentage, just like they always have.

(I already asked this question)

With the price of good fielding and good range skyrocketing after the last update, there's probably not even a chance now to get a good glove man or someone with good range. It wasn't often pre-update, I would imagine virtually nil post-update.

Thanks jfranco. That makes me feel a little better. They might still be bad, but not so painfully awful you just can't use them...
