I'm using a new pitching format for the 1st time.
I'm using a starter with 632 IP
Then a Tandem with a 235ip and a 143 ip. I have lots of bullpen innings to spell either tandem guy when needed.

My Question is. What happens when tandem A guy is rested but tandem B guy is below his auto rest? Will tandem A pitch and then the bullpen come in? Will it skip their start all together?
What about if tandem B is rested but tandem A isn't?

i believe that if Tandem B is below, Tandem A will start and then Sparky goes right to your 'pen.

i also think that if Tandem A is below, then Sparky will skip the whole tandem.

This isn't so. You have to adjust manually.

I have never been a fan of the Tandem option. I would much rather go with a Starter 1 and a Starter 2A and 2B.

I like to use the Tandem setting. I've set 2 guys to a 4a/4b, and check yes to relief for both, pulling double duty...

Tandem is worth it in leagues with a small talent pool. In progressives, I'll sometimes take two pitchers with 2.5-4 IP/g and use them in tandem.

The reason I chose tandem is 1 pitcher has 6 ip/g the other is 4 ip/g. i figured that'd be a lot on my pen to handle.

If the your 'A' guy in the tandem is fatigued below his autorest level, he's going to start anyway. You have to make a manual adjustment the cycle before hes scheduled to pitch.
