What is the highest win total not to make the playoffs. The league I just fininshed had three teams in the same division with records of 100-62 and 97-65 and 97-65, so only one of the 97 win teams made the playoffs.

Unfortunately my team lost in the 1 game play-in game. We had a team in another division of my league to make the playoffs with a record of 80-82. Has anyone else been this lucky?

I played in a really lopsided OL recently where there were a bunch of terrible 120 loss teams, and I think 6 teams that won 100+ games. One of the 100 win teams missed the playoffs, with 104 wins, I think.

My guess is that as lopsided as that league was, there are even better records that have missed the playoffs.

Back a couple of years or so, I had a an OL team win 106 and finish 3rd in my division.

I'm pretty sure I had a team win 107 a little less than a year ago in an OL and miss the playoffs. I've also made the playoffs with 77 wins. Was very recently in an OL where one of the playoff teams had 73 or 74 wins.

My last league had the best division ive seen, I finished with on top with 110 wins second had 98 after losing 9 straight at the end bec of resting players, then 94 and 88 wins.

I won 110 with a losing record in my division.

I was in a theme league where a 98 or 99 win team didn't make it. Of course a 77 win team made it in a different division.

I finished with 96 wins; the third best overall record. Was also the third best record in my division unfortunately.

Guess I shouldn't feel so bad...to make things worse I lost my last 5 and the other two guys in my division won their last 8 and 5 respectively.

About 5 years ago I was in a league in which the records went from best to worst across the entire NL, the 4 best records were all in the NL East, the 4 worst were all in the NL West. The 4th place team in my division had 100 wins, the 3rd place team had 107 or 108, while the top two both had 112 or 114 and tied for the division/wildcard. Of course, the 68 win team from the NL West also made the playoffs.

have had two 103 teams miss the playoffs by finishing third in their division with the third best record overall inlcuding both leagues.

160-2 and i didn't make the playoffs...

This was a 16-team league so only the first place team made the playoffs.

I once tied for the wild card with someone where we both had a 110-52 record. I won the 111th and moved on to eventually win the WS.
