Why is the TOC winner take all?

I do have a bias since I lost a TOC final the other day, it was fun while it lasted but have nothing to show for it.

Thanks
JJ

This was brought up in the recent survey. I think I voted for the $200/$50 split, as that seems reasonable to me.

i am a Liberal. i voted for $1 for everyone but the winner. he has more than enough.

I'm a conservative. I want the insurance companies and Halliburton to have the money! And the richest 1%!

Don't worry, it'll trickle down to us!

I am a Libertarian and...

sorry what was the question again?

I would have been happy with crazy's split because I know I didn't win the TOC but I did have to win 15+ games to get there. Thanks for letting me vent. Feel much better now.

With the new system in place, folks get rewarded for making the final four, now if I can just get it to apply to older TOCs or the one I'm in now, hmmmmm...

Change is coming, word is they're gonna spread the wealth. There is gonna be a prize for the top 3 or 4 in each TOC...

The change is listed that as of all TOC's starting 10/13 the prize structure will be $150-$50-$25-$25. I was just whimpering that my two TOCs started before the new system and I would have gotten $50 if the new system would have been in place then with my first one and the next one is just starting.

:-)) I was wondering what the payouts were these days. Guess I found them.

I feel your pain, jjgreen. I made 2 TOC finals in the old system & lost them both & got nothing. Looks like 2nd place gets $50 now. Good to know. I just made the top 4 in a TOC... fatigued as hell, may not make it any further but nice to know I'll at least have $25 coming my way...
