pretty cool, most interesting to me is that 20 runners scored on all those triple plays (678) and only 8 times was the batter not one of the outs.

My brain's a little foggy this morning... how does a run score on a triple play?

If not all the outs are force outs, then if a runner crosses the plate before the 3rd out is made, the run will score.

right. Like, bases loaded, batter hits into normal double play, run scores from third, and the runner from second who was going to third tries to catch them napping and gets caught running between 3rd and home. Something like that. Much less foggy after a couple coffees and 3 errands.
