Good question. I think position has something to do with it. But then, why does Dwight Howard (1.3/2.8/104) have a 70 while Drummond (2.1/2.4/98) have a 52? Howard even has more fouls per 48... The teams have similar def fg% as well: .459 for Rockets, .461 for Pistons.

No sense whatsoever.

If you SimMatchup the 15-16 Lakers, Kobe is a bench player. Simmed the 15-16 Warriors vs. 15-16 Spurs, btw, 7 games series, Spurs won in 7, with the road team winning all 7 games, LOL.

True on both counts. I was thinking of 50-52 mil leagues where cost would be less of an issue. And like last season, his ast% is so notably low that you do have to plan around it. Still, 100 D with blocks and boards and doesn't give the ball away a glaring amount and actually scores a bit...he's like a very high-functioning Tree Norman.

What are people's thoughts on 15-16 Rajon Rondo? Great ast% still, 70 def, and can finally hit some 3's, but overall fg% dropped, and has a turnover issue.

My guess is that season won't be the one chosen in higher cap theme leagues, but it makes him a little more valuable in a progressive league and I would except to see him used a lot in any season-specific league.

Looking at these D ratings makes me long for the old days when they didn't exist. Having nothing at all is better than having something nonsensical.
