Ben Wallace sometimes makes the first round in draft leagues.  Russell still sometimes does, and Mutombo and Camby are second round fixtures.  Chandler doesn't last past the third.  Looks like 14-15 DeAndre should leapfrog all these guys.

I think I might still take Wallace over him.  Cheaper, better D, less turnovers, less fouls, better Dreb.  Both being tier 6 usage guys (or is DJ tier 5 - not looking atm), I'm not as concerned about that efg%.  Either way, if what I'm looking for is D & boards with little usage & Worm is off the board, those two are next on my list.

I hear you.  In a $100m cap I might take D. Jordan.  At $52m, Big Ben makes more sense so I'm not paying for superfluous shooting efficiency.

Did you play him at SG?

no.  He's 100% at both guard positions, though, so it doesn't really matter. (truly 100%, not fake 100% like 94-95 Stockton who is listed as 100% at SG but isn't when you play him there).

Stockton isn't 100% at Shooting Guard?  That explains some things.

I was asking because I have my Steph playing with Chris Paul and he is shooting better than expected. I didn't know if the effects would carry over if I paired him with someone like Durant at SG where Curry becomes the primary passer.

make a team. Put him on it. Go to the defensive matchups section. Check out his defense on shooting guards.  Not 80.  It's 79.  I've run him at SG plenty of times & at PG plenty of times.  Always shoots better at PG.  Not sure why he shows up as 100% SG when he is, in fact, not.  I check everybody now before I used them after discovering that.

Not just 94-95 Stockton Ash.  I got 89-90 Stockton in a league right now and I just noticed he's 71 D against PG, 70 D against SG.  Weird.

so he is.

I guess that makes sense; some rounding issues in their logic.

I am surprised you notice a performance difference at that level though.
