I just want to reiterate that the salaries were indeed adjusted to balance offense and defense.  All we need to do now is adjust either all salaries or the cap.  There is a good chance that the SIM will be a big improvement over the last version.  Let's not make this out to be worse than it is.

elgin, elvin, bob and hondo say they're still too weighted by ts% which is dependent on their IRL high FTM that they will never take/make in the sim

So you're saying either they should be allowed to take those FTs or they should cost less relative to other players?

if their value is based on a TS% derived from the fact that they make 600 free throws but the engine is only going to generate 400 FTM for them while another player's TS%/efg valuation is based on the fact that he made 250 treys at a 40% clip and the engine is going to generate 280 treys made at a 45% clip then do we have a balanced calibration? I think not

I really do love Detlef's take on this entire thing. Seeing that he has four squads total since he's joined the site, I wouldn't be surprised if the bozo was a plant.

This release did nothing to make me want to keep playing. I'll go back to my hut with Mel Gibson's character from "Conspiracy Theory" and continue my absence from the SIM.

Last statement: I miss the people, not the game. Sucks that your consumers are much better entertainment when compared to your product, doesn't it WIS?

Lol, I know but I just wanted to make sure you were still around these days. By the way, I'm in Phelan also. SW OK State. Was gonna schedule a game against you next season, but looks like you are booked up already.

lol, sorry, I like to cupcake the schedule the first couple of seasons to build wins, prestige, and confidence in my team...lost a tough 1st game in OT last night...going to be a long, bloody first season with my virgin Mount Olive crew.

No one is really going to use those guys anyway because they just can't shoot.  Price the sim anyway you want, there are too many guys that shoot better.  Barros and Rice went up quite a bit.

They also play a ton of minutes and rebound well which puts their salaries higher.
