14-15 Player Watch Topic

Did anyone notice that the three point shot that Anthony Davis made at the buzzer to beat Oklahoma City was the only three point shot he made all season?

Irrelevant...
have you seen  Lebron!!!! I'm talking  about the salary

i have dreamed of putting 2 Stocks and 2 james together for a long long time. and never has the money added up. I've already made multiple brews with the Quartet,

and that new discounted Noah.. i'm salivating as I type,

Curry looks like the clearest example of a player whose 14-15 season is his best in the sim.  That D rating seems ridiculous, but it will cement his until now tentative status as a first round selection in the dh52 draft.

Yeah, I can't wait to use that Curry season.

Also, Durant's partial season joins that club of 900-1,000 minute high efg%, high usg% that is an elite back-up.

No more partial season carmelo or Curry to fill those last 10 minutes at SG

Indeed.

Also, Gobert is now a half-time monster.  I would look to draft him ahead of Tree or Tyson now.

It's weird, but the new Harden year makes my favorite McGrady season obsolete. Better defense, more threes, better passing, higher efg. McGrady's saving grace is that he has a slight Oreb advantage and plays so clean with the fouls and turnovers.

McGrady's turnovers are incredibly low, though.  I think only 96-97 MJ is better for a tier-1 usage player.

only been 6 games, but I'm liking what I'm seeing from 14-15 Curry:

SimLeague Stats

Per Game 6 34.0 32.5 0.7 4.0 53.3% 49.2% 95.5% 9.2 3.0 4.2 0.5 1.5

(not a mega ast% squad - think it's in the neighborhood of 75 or 80%)

More 14/15 player stats?

Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, Tony Allen, DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul have been named to the 14-15 NBA All-Defensive First Team.

On the All-Defensive Second Team are Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler, Andrew Bogut, John Wall and Tim Duncan.

Jordan may have just moved into first round draft territory.

yeah.  45% crb, 71% efg%, 90 defense, 2800 minutes, low usage so pretty good bargain price.
5/20/2015 11:08 PM
With the defensive bump this is now my favorite Chris Paul year.

Me, too.  Been waiting on the all-D announcements before making a squad with him. Used up all my teams waiting tho, so... yeah :)

Tyson Chandler either rebounds really well but plays just ok D or he's an excellent defender but just ok on the boards - now Deandre bumps him down everyone's draft boards
