Picking the right park to suit your selected players is of critical importance. To start with, and presuming you still want to use the more modern day SPs you listed, you'll want to survey the parks and chose those that show negative numbers for HRs.

Shouldn't the offense I chose (they hit alot of homeruns) make up for the difference?

Oh well I'll learn. I will get it eventually. This is fun though - certainly got my $10.95 worth of entertainment. $10.95 would last about...10 minutes in a quarter poker machine.

I think I will like it here. I was burned out on Fantasy Baseball anyway.

You will learn which stats are useful and which are useless. When drafting make sure you get away from the real world and fantasy addiction to stuff like ERA, Wins, RBI's etc. They are results of everything else including the team they are on - and they have no useful purpose in WIS. As one of the few girls in a bar filled with 1,000 men I'm sure you have made some friends already. Make a couple good friends (make sure you check their winning percentags and Championships) they are like the guys with the fancy cars and business cards that say Doctor or Attorney on them...as you can see from my winning percentage and championships - I'm less desirable friend material. If you want to win, you have to get away from the sticking with what you know mentality. It's a different world in the SIM where guys like Caruthers (ack), Joe Wood, Cy Williams, and Bob Milacki have value you never imagined. Have fun Micki.
