GAME 29: Rebels 19-9, (John Healy, 5-1) v Quakers 4-24, (Tom Lovett, 0-5)

The Quakers take an early lead but the Rebels fight back. Glasscock jacks a tying solo in the 7th, and the Rebels score 3 in the 9th to defeat the hapless Quakers and their fans, who haven't seen a Win at the Baker Bowl yet.

GAME 30: Rebels 20-9, (Al Atkinson, 4-1) v Quakers 4-25, (Tony Madigan, 0-9)

Things start good for the Rebels and only get better. Nine players drive in runs, including Yank Robinson and subs Luis Sojo and Hugh Nicol, who all drive in 4. Al Atkinson is perfect through six, and only allows two hits- both of which are infield singles and one run in a complete game shellacking, 22-1.

GAME 31: Rebels 21-9, (John Healy, 6-1) v Quakers 4-26, (Frank Mountain, 0-3)

The Rebels lose a crazy game, 14-12. I'm happy for eman though, because he's having a bad year obviously and at least he's got a home win now.

NEXT UP: Three in Milwaukee, which is having issues, and then three at home against the Drunken Irish, who are the unluckiest team in the league, at 20-11, yet two games back in the Division to the surprising Senators.

GAME 32: Rebels 21-10, (Nat Hudson, 2-2) v Brewers 14-17, (Henry Porter, 3-5)

We should have won... leading 6-2 in the seventh, we gave up three, one, and a Walk-off jack by Seery... losing 7-6.

GAME 33: Rebels 21-11, (Al Atkinson, 5-1) v Brewers 15-17, (Toad Ramsey, 9-4)

Abner Dalrymple gets an RBI in the first, and Al Atkinson gives up only one earned run, as the Rebels roll comfortably to a 6-2 victory, the tie-breaking runs coming in the sixth and eighth. Atkinson picks up the win.

GAME 34: Rebels 22-11, (John Healy, 6-2) v Brewers 15-18, (Henry Porter, 3-5)

A crazy game... we trail 3-0, go up 4-3, trail 5-4 and then 7-4, lead 8-7, and score the deciding run in the 9th to win. Laskey picks up the victory, and Dalrymple drives in five (bringing his total to a league-leading 49).

NEXT UP: Providence at home for three and then three against the Senators here in New York. It's certainly the hardest part of our schedule for this month- the meat comes now. We've been good, but now it's time to beat the good teams. We were average on the road, now we've got 'em at the Polo Grounds.

Roger Connor, as of today, is leading the league in MVP Votes. Abner Dalrymple is third. Dalrymple is leading the league in RBIs (49) and Home Runs (10). Connor is leading the league in Average, as well. Plus, the Rebels are 23-11, which is tied for the best record in the Majors. Folks, we got ourselves some fun!!

GAME 35: Rebels 23-11, (Nat Hudson, 2-2) v Drunken Irish 21-13, (Pud Galvin, 4-5)

The Rebels grab a 1-0 lead in the first. A 10-run second inning quickly puts it out of reach, and the Rebels cruise to a 12-3 victory, as Nat Hudson improves to 3-2.

GAME 36: Rebels 24-11, (Al Atkinson, 6-1) v Drunken Irish 21-14, (Jocko Flynn, 6-2)

The Drunken Irish score five in the first, and it doesn't look good. But, the Rebels quietly chip away and take the lead for good in the sixth, winning 6-5. Al Atkinson wins, and Mountjoy picks up his fifth save.

Manager Jim Murtrie released some major news to us before anyone else:

"Nat is having some difficulty with the fatigue of pitching every few days. In light of this, we have decided to move Bill Mountjoy from the Bullpen to the Rotation, as a Tandem 3rd starter. The new rotation is Atkinson, Healy, Hudson, Atkinson, Healy, Mountjoy, repeat..."

Sorry, I was off the internet (I'm having some issues). But again, we did well while I was away, and we're now 32-13. Awesome!

GAME 46: Rebels v Augas

A close game is suddenly broke open in the 4th, and 20-5 is the final score in favor of Wakonda.

GAME 47: Rebels v Cardinals

We have a lead, 6-3 in the seventh, when the Cards turn the table on us and score 6. We can't recover and lose 9-6.

GAME 48: Rebels v Cardinals

A game we stole. Trailing 4-0 in the 9th (with only 8 baserunners) we go on a tear, scoring not 4, not 5, 6, but 7! The Cards can't come back and we win, 7-4.

GAME 49: Rebels v Cardinals

We led 3-0 in the seventh, and the Cardinals got a run. A homer in the 9th tightened it up, but the Rebels held on to improve to 34-15.
