Is there are lower amount of reward points for winning now? First 4 NBA championships, I received 3000 points. For the 5th it was 2250. Anyone else?
From the FAQ

* Note that these rewards change for open leagues depending on the number of times an owner reaches the championship series.
The 1st - 5th trips to the Finals yield the full value of the prizes mentioned above (100%).
The 6th - 10th trips to the Finals yield 75%.
The 10th trip and beyond yield 50%.

Remember, these limitations are for open leagues only -- theme leagues will ALWAYS yield 100% of the prize values!

Their reasoning: make experienced owners gravitate towards theme league where there are both better prizes & better competition.
Problem with their reasoning: there aren't enough owners anymore for this.

Are results totally random in this game? Does a team's talent have anything to do with it?? Does fatigue really mean anything??? Case in point: my opponent came into our game 8-15. My team was 18-5. The fatigue levels of his starting five as the game began were as follows: 84%, 91%, 97%, 90%, and 90%. All of my team was at 100%. I'd already beaten him handily 3 times. Easy win? Yup, for him! WTF is it with this game?

There is randomness (and you will have some strange results by only looking at one game), but a clearly superior team will win a 7 game series a very high percentage of the time. Think of these simulations like poker hands.

rebounding. this is why Scott sux, a team w/ 21/77 starting 5 creb( essentially 4 guards and Nerlens Noel) outrebounds a team w starting 5 creb of 45/104 AND the advantage on defensive rebounds - that should just simply not happen at all.....

A. I think Rodman's outlier performance had a bit of impact- 11 reb in 14 minutes is ridiculous
