I can't wait for the change that will mean that pitchers fatigue by IP, rather than by PC.

IP fatigue is wrong too. It should be by batters faced.
it is possible to get out of an inning in 3 pitches (3 BF) which isn't equivalent to going deep in the count with multiple foul balls to each of 3 batters whereby a pitcher throws 20 or more pitches to to get out of an inning (3 BF). Both would fatigue the same??????

Is it also fair that a pitcher who gets lit up, the opposing team bats around and that pitcher throws 35+ pitches in an inning can get fatigued the same way as what you mentioned above if done by IP? The reason why batters faced is the best is because then both sides are fatigued the same. If a team bats around in an inning then the 9 batters fatigue + 1 PA while the pitcher gets fatigued the same 9 BF.

Nope.

The only way to fatigue is by innings. You pay for innings in the draft center, you get innings. You'll get the same number of IP out of a pitcher if he pitches at safeco or coors (the quality of the innings may vary).

You think that there weren't a few very short IP out there in real life for the pitcher? You think that nearly every pitcher out there didn't have a few 35-40 PC innings during the course of a season? It's built into the IP. You get the IP you paid for, no 100's of free IP to stretch as you like by playing in Safeco, or with a good defense, or....

But you don't really pay for IP in the draft center as much as you think. There are many factors figured into the price, and the fact that WHIP is factored at least as much as IP makes it so that essentially BF is also factored in. You are trying so hard to get rid of the Safeco teams that by making it IP the Coors Field teams will come into play again. My point is that in the game everyone should be fatigued the same. If batters get fatigued by PA, then pitchers should be fatigued by BF.

And if you think that all pitchers have as many low IP innings as high, then you never saw Al Leiter pitch.

You guys realize that batters faced and IP and pitches thrown are the same thing in this game? Thats what all those coefficients in the 'pitch allocation' thread are there for.
The high k-out pitchers can throw a couple extra innings maybe, but there's no sense in arguing past each other.
