GAME 9: Rebels 6-2, (Nat Hudson, 1-0) v Drunken Irish 5-3, (Jocko Flynn, 0-1)
Leading 6-1 in the Top of the 7th, the Drunken Irish put in their defensive replacements. Two errors are made, and a 3-RBI Dalrymple triple are the highlights of a 7-run inning. Laskey holds on for a save, Mountjoy gets the win, 10-7. Jack Glasscock has 3 RBIs, as well.
GAME 10: Rebels 7-2, (Al Atkinson, 1-0) v Drunken Irish 5-4, (Charlie Buffinton, 3-1)
A real back-and-forth affair that includes a Home Run by Jim Manning is eventually won by the Drunken Irish, 6-5. Mountjoy gets hit with the loss, falling to 3-2.
GAME 11: Rebels 7-3, (John Healy, 1-0) v Drunken Irish 6-4, (Pud Galvin, 1-1)
A close game is broken open in the 6th, where the Rebels score eight. Healy picks up the victory, improving to 2-0. Roger Connor has his best game yet, with 3 RBIs. Defensive replacements, including Dasher Troy, do well for themselves as well.
GAME 12: Rebels 8-3, (Nat Hudson, 1-0) v Drunken Irish 6-5, (Jocko Flynn, 0-1)
The Rebels fall into a big 7-1 hole, and can't dig their way out of it, losing 7-5. Hudson loses, falling to 1-1. Yank Robinson, in a bright spot, hits a 2-run homer.
NEXT UP: Four in Washington, then we come back home to start Divisional play against the Columbia Park Athletics. As of right now, we are tied with the Wakonda Augas for the lead in the Division, at 8-4, but the Senators are right now, the best team in the AL at 9-3. We have a tough schedule in front of us.
