im steeped in live play and i suck! i jsut find it fun..thats all..and the camaraderie is there...

No way. Just not true. Just remember to hold the basestealers on and have a good armed catcher b/c in live certain teams will kill you otherwise.

These just sound like lazy excuses.

I'm really not sure calling somebody lazy because they don't want to play LIVE - something you do for FUN, not because you in any way are obligated to do so - is the way to bring more players over to the LIVE side...

No, I was saying that because those are weak excuses to not want to try and get involved. But hey, to each his own.

I'm actually shocked because there are so many number/baseball nerds on this site (im included) and the majority seem very devoted to finding different ways to master and learn the sim for what it's worth. Playing LIVE has greatly helped understand what works well and what doesn't because you watch it unfold infront of your face instead of having to decifer a box score.

And god damn it, if i want to PH Cesar Cedeno with the bases loaded in the 3rd inning I can! So there!
