Quilvio Veras is money at 2B in 80-100 cap leagues. Great OBP, decent AVG, some speed and defense....all for less than 5m.

bud have you ever tried Cy Williams at 160mil cap? I know what he can do at 80 mil.

I have used the 1974 Garr for his high number of triples. Here is one that currently active:

I've had him on a 140 Mil Cap and he did well. His AVG and OBP were much lower, but he still drove in plenty of runs.

The 1956 Johnny Temple used to be a mainstay on my teams... Have to start using him again. B/B fielding at 2b, 749 PA/162, 111 AVG+ with a .288 AVG#, and a .937 contact rate.

A great Sim player indeed.. he is a bit expensive at $6.2mm (c/D+ fielding) , but I've used him in the 3 hole several times and he never lets me down.

Here's his line @ 120 mil cap after 124 games:

.223/.291/.410 with 28 HR and 90 RBI

The '31 Gehrig @ almost 10 Mil is only 2 HR and 11 RBI ahead of him.

bluedodger91, I all ways have played him in the 80 cap, always has done quite well, Sometimes as many as 62 home runs
