Pick the date on which the 09-10 players are released.  Closest guess in terms of day differential wins, tie goes to later pick.  So let's say that they are released on January 12, 2012, one person picks January 6, 2012, and somebody else picks January 18, 2012- they are both 6 days off but the January 18 pick wins.  Of course, they would both get kudos for such stunning accuracy for such an unpredictable event.

I'm going with October 20, 2010.  I am optimistic that the impending start of the '10-11 season will light a fire under their @sses, but I'm also a bit of a dreamer.
