I once had a guy in one of my leagues (let's call him Owner A) who not only didn't name his team properly, he made it offensive -- I forget the exact name, something to do with malodorous feminine parts. But I wasn't a stickler, and ignored it.
Then as the league was filling another owner (Owner B) sitemailed me to say HE was pulling out if I didn't force Owner A to change his name.
So I asked Owner A, very politely, to change his team name. He told me to fornicate myself. And I thought, "If I could do that, would I be wasting my time on WIS?"
Meanwhile, Owner B is asking me for "updates" on Owner A's team name. I stall and tell him "I'm working on it."
Naturally, I waited until there was a schedule before telling Owner B that Owner A refused to change his name.
It's been said before, but getting a league off the ground is like herding cats.
