I'm surprised draft has slowed down today; from my perspective these middle rounds are critical to filling out the roster. And these are the rounds when with each passing pick I hold my breath hoping the guy I want next is still on the board.

of Chuck Hinton - How have we slowed down? Looks like we're up to date, cause slickers has been late on most of his recent picks?

Yes, jeff can make 2 picks now, and then you can pick again. But then slickstick's round 9 pick is up - and we can't skip that, because it's not "due" until tomorrow.

As for slowing down, mostly what I meant is that we've had fewer picks ahead of schedule today. And at least one other owner today missed his slot (though he made it up).

I'm really looking forward to the no-incentive-to-tank seasons. My team's not going to be very competitive in 1961 or '62, but I'll be able to go all out every game without feeling like an idiot for screwing myself out of a higher pick.

I'm in a prog league right now where we're in the midst of voting whether to change the current "Reward the Tankers and the Negligent and the Incompetent" system. Based on the early returns, it looks like we're going to keep the old way of doing things...

As for slowing down, once I looked at the picks and times, I agree. I was out until 5:25, so when I came back I had to see which of "my boys" was still there. Lo and behold 2 of my top 4 were ....
