I have seen several other belly-achers write a post similar to this, I just want to add my voice to the chorus. OL, I draft 4800 PAs, a little light, IMO, on innings, figuring that if I am able to get a good AAA player, I can release my 200Ks, and the starter that the AAA would replace, and grab a P off the WW. But nnnnnnooooooo, I can't even cut most of my 200k players, let alone a 600 AB player. I don't like this.

Just wondering because I have not been in an OL since the update, if you really wanted to cut all the AAA and use the $ on the WW, shouldn't you draft the min with your full time players so that the 200k players are just space fillers for the AAA guys?

May take, what?, an extra few sec. drafting the team but saves all these problems later

yes, i suppose that would help, but here is my problem. I received a 3bman from AAA who is plenty good enough to start in an OL, with "A" stamina. I then wish to release my erstwhile starting 3bman, and go for another P. I can't do it. period. I feel that if I want to do this, I should be able to do it.

Agree Totally
I sent in to support about this.I also asked but say you have a player that cost $10mil 700pa and you want to hit the WW good luck. But asked trading off said player and you should be able to pick up 2 $5mill players with 350pa.At the very least but noooooooooooo. They real need to take away this DUMB RULE.That every one has to draft 4800Pa and 1200inning Min.There are MANY Quality owners out there that can get by with FAR less.I.E Grizzly for one.It is are $12.95 we should be able to send as we like.

While I agree totally about our $12.95 thing there are ways around this. Think it through.

At least some of it anyway.

I draft a few worthless high PA scrubs and send them to AAA permanently. costs a few dollars and a few roster positions but allows me to use my AAA hitters and gives me room to maneuver.

While we are complaining about OL's, I would rather have draft your own AAA rather than the random AAA. The random AAA usually ends up shifting the balance of a league because one user will get a stud at a position while others will get crap. The new rule unintentionally ended the benefit but goes about it the wrong way. They should do one or the other, give random AAA with no limits or Pick your own AAA and limits.

What are other's thoughts?

pick-your-own AAA is a completely different animal. comparing it to random AAA is comparing apples and oranges.

In total agreement here random AAA is bull.Every work so hard saving penny here and there to build the best team. Then bam random luck some guy pulls great AAA ( your scr#wed) and pull all crap.Nice very nice Pick your own AAA is the only way to fly. Then if you like you can pick 3 AAA SS and put a $200K in your lineup Save some cash. And then spend that money you saved upgrade some other spot. But the luck of the draw thing really does not work for me.I would rather pick my 6/2 below avg then the auto pick AVG any day.

How about no AAA. Always thought AAA was crap. I have 2 guys on my team from AAA hitting over .350 How do you prepare for this kind of luck?

this would totally change the game....

I'm one of the guys who pushed the site for the minimums. It was supposed to be combined with a change from pitchers fatiguing by pitch count to by IP, but they had to drop that part. It was intended to help combat the fatigue strategy, which it didn't do much at as a stand alone.

However...

Since the rules and the minimums are published, I have no sympathy for anyone complaining about being unable to make WW moves. You know what the rules are going into the league. If you want to draft just a little red c hair more than the minimums, then you have to deal with the problems of being unable to adjust your roster much. You chose to have no PA/IP cushion, and you need to pay the price for your decision. If you drafted a few extra scrup PA/IP, then you'd have a cushion.

Basically, if you're not allowing yourself enough cushion, then you only have yourself to blame.

This is my AAA they are below AVG but you pick them 2 days ago.But they have been doing the same the last 6 games.

My bench 112hit,13-2b,4-3b,8-hr,RBI -55,AVG .345, OBP .423, SLG .531 come one starter pick it up.I hate to think where I would be with out the bench.A lot worse then 1 game under 500

My 2 AAA pitcher 11 games 1 win 2 saves ova .200 whip 1.00
