Yeah, I'd use him after call-ups against LHP to see what he does. When he's out of options, I make a decision.

I've always gone something/0. The only thing I do differently is that the "something" is higher than before. I was comfortable with 10-12 but that doesn't work now.

I am in day 2 of preseason (day after budgets) and I have a few BL Arb guys I have no intention of going to Arb with. So I want to release them.

Problem is I only have 17 BLers and it won't let me release them due to the 'too few players' warning. I tried designating them but I got the same warning.

There's no one I want to call up from the minors.

So what do I have to do to get them off my roster before arbitration?
