Nope.  Haven't seen it.   Manager was mad at the player but didn't want to show him up.

Which team would it be worse to be a fan of today, the Vikings or the Bengals?

Has to be Vikings.   You expect to make a 27 yard FG.  Bengals had several chances to put their game away but missing a short FG is the worst.  Especially if you were at the game.

But still not as bad as being a Packer fan last year, right?

Time heals all wounds.   Packer fans should be over it by now.   But I'll tell you one thing I'm not over.  The goddam Tuck Rule.   That's when the Patriots recognized it was easier to win when you cheat.  Cheating bastards.   Burn in hell, Belichick and Brady!!!!

Raiders got bent over. Where would you expect them to go next? Stay in Oakland?

He seems to have a good pocket presence but will need to become more accurate.   If not, he might just be the next Kaepernick.

^maybe $500,000,000 in loan money, not a bad parachute. But Oakland City Council will take a long time trying to figure out how to spend the money and any money received is for a NFL stadium only, a move somewhere else in the East Bay might be best.



On topic: How do you go about evaluating a league before deciding to try and join?

It's harder now.    First is number of openings.   I'd want to know why a world has more than 3 openings.   Second, weak/strong teams.  Now we have to hit each individual owner to find their history.  Finally, how long owners have stayed.   Individual owner history.  I used to check trade activity from season's past but we can't do that now.

Mike, do you not know how to look at a world you're not in under the new interface?  From the World Center, click on the world.  You see that strange new front page for a world that's not yours-- but at the bottom of that page is a link to the world chat.  Click on it, and you see the world's chat page as you would see your own world's, including the navigation bar at the top.  The nav bar works just like it used to; that is, you can see everything under the "world" menu on the nav bar.
