Hi guys:  Question:  Is there an ERC search on the Draft Center?  Also, what is OL on the salaries mean?  How (especially for pitchers) do you figure out the salary? 

I realize I am new, but the idea of playing detective and using mathematical formulas to discover the true identity of a prospect, or changing the name of players, is silly and counterproductive.  I'm guessing the formulas replace real life scouting.  I have one guy BEGGING me-2 trade offers-for a SS prospect.  The only 2 guys with A-D- rating are Woody English & Ernie Banks!  The power rating is 2, so I don't think I just walked into Wrigley Field!  I would love to know who I have.  I have to say the AAA stuff is the most annoying part of SIM thus far.

What is the criteria used for determining whether a player is available for being a choose-your-own AAA player? I thought it would just be salary, but it seems a lot of players with very good rate stats and small numbers of PA or IP are not available, even if they are in the salary range allowed.

can anyone who is really good at this help me - here is my AAA catcher - I get two guys who match - is there a way to tell which it is?

seems to match both O'Farrell and O'Neill - is there some other thing I can use to tell???

I have had trouble ID'ing both my pitchers when I enter the fields, it leaves me with zero matches:

SP B-R T-L Control 4/Vel 7/Eff 3/Stm C/Fld B/Range B-

RP B-L T-L Con 1/Vel 10/Eff 5/Stm E/ Fld D+/Range C

BTW, this is OL.  Thanks for the help
