Typical wylie, try to act all holy and above confrontation, when he's the one who went looking for it. You admittedly won't find any posts of me defending Obama's name, because I didn't post in these Forums then. If you haven't seen me criticizing Trump and defending others lately, then you haven't been paying attention. What a surprise, since then you'd have nothing to bogusly accuse me of. I truly wish you'd keep your word and block me, instead of seeking confrontation and pretending you know anything about me. Never mind, I'll just block you. It's much easier.

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank will not do business in the future with U.S. President Donald Trump or his companies in the wake of his supporters' assault on the U.S. Capitol, the New York Times reported.

Deutsche Bank is Trump's biggest lender, with about $340 million in loans outstanding to the Trump Organization, the president's umbrella group that is currently overseen by his two sons, according to Trump's disclosures with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics dated July 31 last year, plus banking sources.

The move, reported by the NYT and citing a person familiar with the bank's thinking, comes as Signature Bank - where Trump's ethics disclosures show he has checking and money-market accounts - called for him to step down.

"The resignation of the president ... is in the best interests of our nation and the American people," Signature Bank said on its website.

A spokesman for Deutsche Bank declined to comment on Tuesday on the NYT report.

The Trump Organization did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment outside normal business hours, and the White House press office did not answer the phone.

Christiana Riley, the head of Deutsche Bank's U.S. operations, condemned the Jan. 6 violence in Washington in a post on LinkedIn last week.

"We are proud of our Constitution and stand by those who seek to uphold it to ensure that the will of the people is upheld and a peaceful transition of power takes place," she wrote.

Reuters reported in November that Deutsche Bank was looking for ways to end its relationship with Trump after the U.S. elections, as it tires of the negative publicity stemming from the ties.

what I know about you is you voted for Trump...twice. Even after admitting he is a liar, a bully, and he handled the pandemic badly. That tells me all I need to know about you.
Tell me this? Did you defend Obama anywhere in the time he was president? For any reason?

Looking at some numbers. Police deaths.

2017 - 128

2018 - 106/144. The 106 number is from the FBI. I have numbers from them in subsequent years. They are lower than other sources. The 144 number comes from USA Today. They must count them differently. In a later tabulation CNN includes "Federal-State-Military-Tribal-Local. I simply mention this to point out there are different numbers depending upon the source and what they consider police.

2019 - 128

2020 - 264

145 of the 2020 deaths were covid-19. That leaves 119.

Lets look at some of the causes in 2020. Next panel please..............

WASHINGTON — More than 700 law enforcement officers have been injured on the job during nationwide protests over the death of George Floyd — with nearly 300 of those among New York’s Finest, according to the Department of Justice and the NYPD.

Since mass unrest over Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody first broke out on May 27, approximately 700 federal, state and local law enforcement officers have sustained injuries in clashes with demonstrators, according to Justice Department data.

The president said Sunday he was withdrawing the nearly 4,000 National Guard troopsbrought to DC to quell the looting, arson and violent clashes that rocked the streets of the nation’s capital at the end of May. More than 100,000 people marched in Washington on Saturday, the largest turnout yet.
