Something is happening in the final days of 2017. People are noticing that Donald Trump has gotten a lot done in his tumultuous first year in the White House.

Assume that tax reform passes and is signed into law. If in, say, 2014, a Republican, of either the conservative or moderate variety, predicted that in 2017 a newly-elected GOP president and Congress would —

1. Cut corporate and individual taxes.
2. Repeal the Obamacare individual mandate.
3. Appoint a highly-respected conservative to the Supreme Court.
4. Appoint a one-year record number of judges to the circuit courts.
5. Get rid of reams of unnecessary regulations.
6. Destroy ISIS.
7. Approve pipeline projects and new oil drilling.

-- then a lot of Republicans would probably have cheered. Loudly.

No **** right. Did you see that horrendously embarrassing hearing the other day? The nominee knew he was going to be interviewed and was still clueless. Had never tried a case in any state or federal court. Had never even lead a deposition.

Completely unqualified and the GOP senator questioning him was disgusted.

Last I heard it was revealed that he's had all the transition teams emails this entire time and "team frump" didn't know it as he didn't have to subpoena them which kept the "team" from finding out. That is, until now. LOL

After, kosher-in-law has already been interrogated, and junior dumpy, and ??????

My prediction????

Between Christmas and New Years day the Russian ***** in the white house will fire Mueller, and the dude above him.......... setting off a media frenzy, and a fury of howling and yowling from both sides of the political isle............. resulting in a near complete stall of the fed. gov't.

As I call it.......... the dad gum govmint. This is usually a good thing because when congress does stuff with a POTUS to back it, bad **** usually occurs to us real people. So, inactivity is much preferred. If this all occurs the 2018 elections should be a real hoot......... or a shoot out. Take cover.

Trump has said many times he's not firing Mueller. You Dems just have a hard time hearing.

I believe he has said he is not considering firing Muelller at this time. Not quite the same thing as I'm not firing him.

I can't imagine Trump would be dumb enough to fire Mueller. But I didn't think he'd be dumb enough to fire Comey and we all know how that worked out.

I was just "predicting" kinda like our resident "soothsayer"........... figured I have just about as much chance as anyone else of guessing what happens........... what's he now, 1 for 2........... awfully good as an everyday ballplayer................ but still wrong 1/2 the time.
