Good point. However the law also says that the minors rights are superseded by adults. When the rights come into clash, the minor's rights do not outweigh.

Poor argument. Rights of a minor's guardian do not include death of that minor.

It does if the death of the guardian can be prevented by the death of the minor... or it should.

You would have to be the lowest of low to not protect a child even if it meant giving up your own life.

That's not the argument I am making.

Heart beats start at 6 weeks
They start peeing at week 10

The adoption process is bad. It's expensive, but that doesn't mean that the parents that adopt the kids don't love the kids and care for the kids.

You pointed out the major flaw with adoption. That, with the time constraints and the risk for the child, means that it is not simple like that.

I think this is the only issue where there will be no compromise. I am steadfast in my views on abortion.

1. We agree.
2. I'm a firm believer that life begins at conception; therefore, I will always be completely against abortion.
3. The process does suck. I have an adopted son. This process was pretty easy because the kid was 15 when I took over rights and his mother consented. If my wife has her way, I will have the privilege of experiencing how bad it actually sucks as she wants to adopt 2 more kids. I still think that most people who adopt truly love the child and provide good homes.

Very little discussion of all the purposely false and defamatory stories put out this week by the Fake News Media. They are out of control - correct reporting means nothing to them. Major lies written, then forced to be withdrawn after they are exposed...a stain on America!

Another false story, this time in the Failing @nytimes, that I watch 4-8 hours of television a day - Wrong! Also, I seldom, if ever, watch CNN or MSNBC, both of which I consider Fake News. I never watch Don Lemon, who I once called the “dumbest man on television!” Bad Reporting.
