I think Hali is above Penny in a vacuum, but for my team I like Penny a bit more since he’s a better fit with Magic imo. But yeah Hali is killing it and is just one high minute season away from being a guy picked in the 3rd round.

man those bo and reed picks really hurt...porter was my top choice for the 5th but i was counting on getting one of those two in the 6th to bolster the defense

I love this version, but imo if we end up in a world in the future where the slowest drafter averages 1.5 hours per pick, I don’t think they should be penalized. I think we should only enact this if over X hours avg.

One year I definitely won (lost) slowest drafter. I believe I’ve turned things around. Rob had the stats on that too of course.

I’d love to see them. I feel like I’ve been on the slower end this year. It always gets to my pick at a terrible time. Yet now of course I’ll probably be available for 5 hours and all day tomorrow When I probably won’t have a pick.

I scrap them after each season. They are useful for any given draft but just in terms of data retention it isn't worth the storage space / hit to db performance of keeping those records long term. You are close to the middle this season.

Almost everyone has been fast this season. 18 people are < 1 hr, 12 people < 30 minutes, 6 people < 15 minutes.

just curious: how do you factor proxies into the time? When someone with the proxy makes the pick for them or some other way?

What would be cool if everyone had a burner phone that they used just for draft leagues. Everyone could get texted as soon as they are up and no one would have to get stressed over passing out their personal phone number to a user name.
