Philadelphia, PA - Just days after arriving in his new role, Sixers President Rod Thorn announced his first task is to add Matthew Taylor, a free-agent who has yet to sign for the 2010-11 season and could play a significant role in making Philly a true contender in the East.
GM Ed Stefanski agreed that signing Taylor is a "top priority." Head Coach Doug Collins expressed his support for the plan, saying "when someone like Matthew [Taylor] is available, you have to do everything you can to bring them in."
The Sixers are hoping to sign Taylor in the next week to one of their 10 Game Plans. Taylor will be able to guarantee great seats to see the Heat, Lakers, and Celtics with options for 10 big games, 10 weekend dates and more, starting at just $99.
