Joseph built the Egyptian pyramids to store grain
A lot of people who go into prison straight and when they come out, they’re gay
Obamacare is really I think the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery. And it is in a way, it is slavery in a way, because it is making all of us subservient to the government, and it was never about health care. It was about control.
[America] very much like Nazi Germany — and I know you’re not supposed to talk about Nazi Germany, but I don’t care about political correctness — you know, you had a government using its tools to intimidate a population. We now live in a society where people are afraid to say what they actually believe, and it's because of the PC police, it's because of politicians, because of news — all of these things are combining to stifle people's conversation.
1) definitely false, but I'm not sure what the seventh day adventists teach in regard to the Old Testament. I'm not one to argue with the teachings of different religions or denominations.
2) he is correct.
3) he is correct. Rolling back the individual mandate is crucial to retaining our freedoms. The mandate sets a very poor precedent.
4) he is most certainly correct. This forum is an example of this. You can't have differing view points without being insulted and belittle. Taint is a great example of this.
1) A dumb thing to say, politically.
2) Incorrect...he has no idea the sexual orientation of people that go in and out of prison and whether or not it changes. A dumb thing to say, politically.
3) This is just a dumb thing to say, period. Requiring that everyone purchase insurance or pay a $700 tax is not anything close to slavery. It shows a complete lack of awareness and critical thinking on his part to say something this stupid.
4) No. He is certainly not correct in his assessment that America is "very much like Nazi Germany." Jesus ******* christ.
Again, I'm sure Carson is brilliant when it comes to cutting into someone's head. But that is a COMPLETELY different skill-set than setting public policy. For example, there have been some absolutely brilliant supreme court justices. Earl Warren, John Marshall, etc.
Assuming they were alive today, you wouldn't hire them to do surgery on your brain. They aren't doctors. Why would you assume that genius in one field translates in any way to a COMPLETELY different field of work?
