I don't think you believe a word of that. You're just trolling the community. You've lost almost every battle you've been in and you're terrible at budgeting your money. Why would any elite coach be even a little worried about battling you? I know my opinion about how to recruit at West Virginia means very little to you, but you should avoid Penn State and Ohio State and other Big East teams as much as possible. That's the only way to win there.

If your only goal is destroying them, great. If it's to win games and have a complete team, you better be careful.

You know you could go elsewhere and not get beaten down every season, right?

You can't believe this. You've spoken so much about which elite jobs are the best (and ranked them, like you know what you're talking about), you must realize that both those schools have a significant edge over you because they're elite. You have to significantly outspend them to beat them if you can win at all. You don't control those schools, you get out of their way. Stop trolling the community.

sd, you don't have to totally get out of their way. Just be very selective and pick your spots.

You've signed 16 out of 44 recruits in your three seasons there.

I don't care how much extra recruiting money you have in the Big East, it's not enough to sustain more than 2-3 battles. Until you park your ego at the door, you are going to continue to squashed in recruiting.

I don't blame you for defending WV, but the reality is it is prime recruiting area for Cincy, Pitt, OSU and Penn State and your bravado isn't going to scare any of those coaches away.

A little humility and self awareness isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of wisdom and maturity.

Chetty, I know how to recruit. Like I said previously I was unfamiliar with the area. This past season I defended a recruit 0. Zero. Zeeeeerrrro miles away that was a need. $180k later I lost. The end. That’s all, it isn’t hard to understand. You act like I went into PENN or Ohio to battle. Or that I battled 2 or more this cycle. I battled 1 person. 1. One. Uno. WV is my land. Nobody else’s. It’s not humble pie in the big East. It’s not let me be a beta and let others push me around. Ohio State and everyone should know who they’re messing with if they come to WV for a recruit. Ohio State felt the repercussions, the coach left. Penn State will feel it too. The big East is the only conference that I’m conservative with. But to think I’m going to let the big 10 push me around is a joke. Even if I lose to Pitt or Temple for a recruit, they get better, I get more money to better my team.

You've had approximately 960K the last 3 seasons and signed 16 players. There are so many players in your 360 with heavy areas in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and into Southeast. But you think anybody you target is yours and it is ALWAYS your downfall.

You just lost to a Sim in Year 3 and will have your 3rd straight 0-8 conference season (On your way to at least 4 and probably 6+) but your team is a glorified Sim at this point.

I RS my QB, this season is a wash. Next season I will have a SR QB,TB, WR and a complete starting defense.
