Come on guys. We've all played sports for years, and we know what a huge impact luck has in real life, so why shouldn't it have an impact in WIS? Never should it be possible to win the title and get the #1 pick the next season. You're going to have turnover beyond your wildest dreams when that happens or bad teams get screwed constantly. I don't know why any league would want to increase the odds of turnover. We already lost an owner because of a mistake he made and that was in the 4th round of the initial draft...wait to see what happens when people get screwed or worse one team gets consistently lucky.

Just throwing it out there but in the progressive I run, I use this random number drawing system and give everyone the room # 24hrs before I run it so that they know it couldn’t be altered.

not saying I don’t trust the current system or that I don’t trust anyone, but there are ways to ensure everyone that it’s 100% random if that’s the goal

I trust the commish to randomize fairly

I do too, I was just responding to the notion that there isn’t a way to ensure that it’s completely random.

I don't trust anybody...take that personally if you want, but I've been alive long enough to know better.

I promise you if I could rig the NY Lotto, I would not be doing this.

Lotto results is another great way to do it. I didn’t realize that’s what was used for this league (not that I didn’t trust anyone) - I’m gonna keep my mouth shut because you guys are doing a fine job by me. Thanks for running the league and keep up the good work.

I actually encourage the mistrust and would recommend everyone quit a league where they dont know that the lotto is legitimate.

If he’s assigning lotto pull times ahead of the draft and we can verify the results ourselves, I don’t see the problem. What am I missing?

why is the lottery system of determining draft spots a topic ??-
as commissioner I asked jhsukow to randomize the draft spots -
to insulate me from 'tampering'

I got the 8th spot and I think jhsukow got middle of pack (12th?), so,
Im not sure why this is a point of contention

while I think the back and forth might be a
good sign, indicating passion and interest in this theme which is GREAT...

lets table this line of contention - it is more than likely going to turn people off
