I did the same thing around Christmas and being a bit technical, was able to grab a the extension files off of my old computer and install them on the new computer. Essentially, you have to put your chrome extensions in "developer mode" and use the "Load unpacked" extension option. I'm happy to throw a few bucks over to help get this updated, though, and make it easier for all of us!

Unfortunately the big issue is that the plugin was written with manifest 2 and google is forcing plugins to update to manifest 3. It's not a money thing more so a time investment thing. I've just been swamped. However, tarvanites is right and I'm happy to provide the file to anyone that wants to go that route temporarily while you wait for me to stop being lazy. Just pm me.

Also, might not be an option for all, but the plugin is still active on Firefox if you use that browser.
