Who knows, maybe Trump in Florida is helping helicopter charters in Washington DC?

Again, back to the point.... Big frickin' deal if only a few residents and business owners are complaining.... Yet the fake news story that started this makes it seem like most residents and business owners are complaining. They are sensationalizing for an anti-trump story line and it's pathetic.

Well, it's not a big deal unless you're one of those residents/business owners. Murders in Chicago aren't a big deal to me but, if one of your loved ones gets killed, I bet it's a big deal to you.

Perfect example. Let's say a couple residents say they are OK with the murders in Chicago because it's just the bad guys killing other bad guys (I do hear this once in a while as naive as it is). Now the fake news media runs and article titled 'Residents are OK with murders in Chicago'. It's misleading and dishonest..... And THAT'S why the media is not trusted anymore because of articles like this.

Residents and business owners in West Palm Beach complained over the weekend that President Donald Trump's frequent trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort are making their lives miserable. (Only two business owners were quoted in the article and they both work with helicopters / airplanes)

So, because it was only two, it's not an issue? They don't have obligations? Say they can't pay their mortgage due to the loss of income. What happens?
3/6/2017 6:32 PM
And tardcomm is even worse. Of course they should have PLANNED on TRUMP becoming PRESIDENT and disrupting AIR SPACE every weekend. After all, EVERYONE knew TRUMP would WIN, right?

Did someone promise you that life would be fair... or easy?

Like I said earlier... If you try to please everyone, you please no one.

Maybe 2 helicopter tour companies in Mar-a-lago struggle but 2 more in DC do well because the President is not in DC. Maybe t-shirt and hat sales are way up because protesters on both sides of the aisle are down there voicing their opinions / freedom of speech. Maybe restaurant sales are way up because of weddings and conventions booked in the area in hopes that Trump will stop by. Maybe people are boycotting Mar-a-lago and it is indeed impacting business. Hard to tell when the fake news media is reporting two aviation companies as if they represent all businesses in mar-a-lago because it's suits their narrative that Trump = Bad.
3/6/2017 6:53 PM
Or, if you have half a brain, you know aviation companies in that area are severely restricted when Trump decides to take his weekends down there every ******* weekend. Didn't he know he'd be working in DC when he ran for Prez?
3/6/2017 6:57 PM
And to answer your question which has nothing to do with my point.... In the business world only the strong survive.

Is it an issue that Uber is putting cab drivers out of business? Cab drivers have mortgages to pay too. Sometimes in business there are disruptive forces and as a business owner you either adapt or go out of business. That's how business works and it's a risk entrepreneurs take.
3/6/2017 7:01 PM
To toddcommish's point.... What would these aviation businesses have done if a hurricane came through Mar-a-lago and killed tourism for 3-6 months if they can't handle a few weekends with Trump during the winter?
3/6/2017 7:10 PM
A) Is Trump a competing business with helicopter charters in Mar-a-lago? Or is he the ******* POTUS?
B) Insurance, *******.

A) POTUS can travel anywhere he/she wants. Obama traveled to Chicago. It was a pain in the ***. Some people complained. Big deal.

B) If that's the case they should get insurance to cover catastrophic losses when POTUS is in town, right?
3/6/2017 7:38 PM
A) Did Obama go to Chicago every weekend?

B) Who in the hell will insure that NOW?
