Clinton won the population centers like LA, Chicago, and New York in a big way. She won California alone by 4.3 million votes. Trump was not trying to win over these voters, nor did he have to. They're Mitt Romney's 47%. He was appealing to the 87% of us counties that voted for him. That's why he won in an electoral LANDSLIDE!! It's really not a hard concept to grasp. Without these three liberal loony tune states Trump wins the popular vote by almost 5 million votes. Clearly these 3 out of all 50 states carried the so called popular vote for Hillary. You can have the 104 electorals.... Trump doesn't need them.

You're right about one thing, it's not hard to grasp. If 70k voters in MI/WI/PA go the other way, Clinton is President. It was a narrow, narrow victory. Not 2000 narrow, but nowhere near a landslide.
