Yeah, that is a good observation. There are a ton of movies using war as a backdrop but really aren't war movies. Is Apocalypse Now a war movie or just a drama centered around the Vietnam War?

Another nomination from me is 300. Very entertaining.

The Gallant Hours . Story of Adm Halsey and the Battle of Guadalcanal The first time I saw it was when I was in the Army Hosp. and the brought a projector to the ward. Great flick.

Non combat injury. Caught my thumb in firing mechanism on the range and it became infected. No biggie. Mostly embarrassing
