For however long you were "gone"/banned (whatever) YOUR thread carried on just fine........plenty of activity on a variety of subjects.......I don't recall ANYONE getting all bent up or getting their "panties in a wad" or any harassing name-calling, etc. In other words, it was normal posting JUST LIKE when you are actively posting. No difference.

The internet doesn't provide any of us a safe space/rubber walled room for discussion/debate. IF you enjoy that then you must allow free interchange of comments............. otherwise??? You'll end up with a handful of folks posting about nonsense and making lists about meaningless topics. In other words mindless prattle. Ain't no one gonna read that long.

i have no idea what you are talking about...this is an entertainment thread...you can exchange random thoughts elsewhere.

welcome back kotter had its charms and certainly showcased travolta and gabe kapler.....
it would be a great show to reboot.

the thing about frazier that i was never sold on was his brother as a ladies man and i hated that chair that the crusty father who had to have been adopted by frazier and his brother insisted on sitting in.
it is a beloved show by many for good reasons...i was just never a fan.

why is MASH not a sitcom?
How about Mad About You? An underrated classic.

See, I enjoyed Frasier way more than Cheers. I liked cheers, but it just wasn't as good in my opinion.

to me Mash is more drama then comedy ...i consider it a drama with dark humor..
everything is subjective when it comes to art.
you like what you like.
cheers and frazier had different plots and characters in general.
i agree with crazy that diane was way better.

when you think about it the cost we all spend monetarily on entertainment is enormous....
be it internet...streaming video media provider.....newspapers and magazines.....going to movies and shows and plays.......buying televisions and radios......xm/sirius....video games.....books.......buying for home movies and television shows.........pop art knick knacks and art.....concerts and purchasing cds............etc etc.
it is undeniably like sports a big part of our lifesyles.........and a big chunk of our budgets.
in total it has become the new drug.
