It is only for Chile and Singapore and it is a program within the H1B visa law which permits the temporary employment of non immigrant labor from any country. Many end up getting green cards . That is very upsetting to their country of origin. They want the people to come here for advancement. When they stay it is a brain drain. When they go back they are more valuable then they were when they left. It causes interesting dilemmas sometimes. Like with China.
The H1B1 is actually slower with certain delays. Everything must be approved before the non immigrant can be brought over. The regular H1B can bring some one over before approval.

The idiots complain like they are taking away jobs from managers at McDonalds. That dull witted fight will get snuffed out quickly. Calling the complainers idiots is not hyperbole. They prove the Swami correct re the mediocrity of so many Americans.

The H1B program is supremely important and ending it would be literally a very serious national security risk.

You should read my post again. I clearly said that I am in agreement with Trump ( and Musk ) with their position on H1-B visas and the special HB program H1-B1.

The exceptional skills and unique talents temporary work visa which can convert to a green card is a very very very very and let me add very crucial issue and Trump is willing to fight MAGA over it. His reasons might be self serving or not but this is a national security issue and keeping the country as number 1 issue.

And if you are not aware of why informed people are saying that the sky will fall if the H1-B program is excised please do some googling from neutral sites like the statute and Wikipedia or other valid news or summary sources.

I was curious if there was such a thing as cannabis bars and upon googling I found out yes and they are called cannabis lounges. They are legal in I think 17 states.
