According to Sen Tillis there are 70k that need evacuating.

As of Friday, there were an estimated 10,000 US citizens, an estimated 10,000 Afghans who have been issued a special immigrant visa (SIV), 40,000 SIV-eligible Afghans, nearly 6,000 U.S. troops, and another 1,000 U.S. personnel at the Kabul airport. That’s nearly 70,000 people to evacuate over 10 days.
Update: Between 3 AM and 3 PM ET today, a total of approximately 10,900 people were evacuated from Kabul. 15 U.S. military flights carried approximately 6,660 evacuees, and 34 coalition flights carried 4,300 people.

Since August 14, the U.S. has evacuated and facilitated the evacuation of approximately 48,000 people. Since the end of July, we have re-located approximately 53,000 people.


Still no American casualties too.

I agree with you we should've left, like in 2012 after we killed Bin Laden.

There’s been two ISIS attacks so there could be a US casualty that I haven’t seen yet and that would obviously be bad. It’s horrible there were Afghan casualties on this one. Apparently ISIS wants to embarrass the Taliban and us. It’s gonna be ****** over there. Sucks, don’t know what else to say, but we can’t be the global police anymore.

eta: 4 troops died. That sucks. More would die if we stay. Get out all we can.
