Savoybg… Roger A Brown was a good pick for where u got him. Haywood was a good pick but my experience has been that Lanier is a little more well rounded. Buse was a FANTASTIC pick. The best pick you have made. Your 3rd and 4th round picks suck. U coulda gotten both of them in the late rounds. With Haywood and Buse, you still have a chance to be competitive if you can do better the rest of the draft.
You've got a point with Heard, but the great defenders were disappearing fast, and he's 100 plus good steals and my only shot blocker at 2.8 per game, and he can play 3, 4 or 5. My weakest offensive guy.
As for Clark, playing a point guard who is a big scorer with 8 assists per game at the 2 sounds pretty good to me.
Archie Clark was a bonafide superstar for 3 seasons. Did you ever see him play? If he's gonna fall to later rounds here something is wrong. Remember, we are not picking based on their careers, it's just based on whatever we pick as their best season. Clark was the 5th best PG in 71-72 in win shares per 48, and the 4 ahead of him (Frazier, West, Tiny, Big O) were all taken already when I took Clark. He made the all star team and was second team all NBA that season. Because he played over 40 minutes a game that season he was 8th in total win shares.
