You have to love any company that essentially has no cost but won't add features because of low turnout. That is a great way to ensure turnout will become even lower. Way to FOX!! You're killing this site just like you killed the Dodgers.

Why do you say we won't add features? We've had several significant NBA releases this year.

He has a point...its been a while since the last major update and not a lot of people are happy about the new o ranges and d ratings...and nothing's been done to "fix" them to this point...

Scott, no disrespect or anything, but you guys have always been a pool of underachievers for various reasons....arrogant customer service, bad marketing, questionable ratings, etc. I'm currently playing the Imagine Sports basketball sim (I think its going to suck) but I've seen a ton of things on there where I immediately thought/said...WIS should have that.

How could I take that as disrespectful colonels?

While I'd concede that some of the coaching settings haven't been put in yet, we've spent a ton of time working on the SimEngine and it's inputs over the last couple of years. The NBA SimEngine is one of our most accurate and advanced SimEngines now. I know that's sometimes hard to appreciate when you only see the end result, but the quality of results now versus several years ago is night and day.

The good news is that with the SimEngine in very good shape we can concentrate more on the surrounding game and settings. It's a lot easier to add things to a solid foundation than trying to rebuild the entire structure each time.

New SIM= fouls out of hand. Can't believe the amount of FPG and FTA in the new version

Seble, I appreciate all the efforts you guys have put into the new version of the game but unfortunately the results seem to be unanimously "rejected".

I didn't like the O range ratings to begin with, but the new D is terrible and from what I've read about the fouls, turnovers and rebounds, also seem to be way off.

Too bad, I've got about 8000 rewards points plus a full season team that's paid for and sitting in the draft center. But I ain't about to start a new team until I read the game's been fixed.

Good luck.

Fouls/minute are down fairly significantly in the SimEngine for full-season results.

I think saying the results have been "unanimously rejected" is pretty inaccurate since no league has played more than 14 games using the new SimEngine.

You're obviously free to do what you like, but I'd personally rather decide on something myself than trust the initial reaction of a few people over a small sample size.
