I don't have a choice but to allow any abortion right now. It is legal, but I can still have a strong moral objection to them and speak against them with hope that the laws will one day be changed to protect the innocent.

Do you have a strong moral objection to an abortion when the mothers life is at risk?

My conscience says yes, but logically I understand it. As a parent, I feel that you should always protect your children even if it means sacrificing your own life, but as I said earlier, it is unfair for me to expect every person to feel the same.

That's tough what if you are a mother of four and your 5th can cause you to die. I think you need to be there for the other four and make the tough choice? No?

Yep, that is tough. That's why I used that as the one instance where I would be okay with abortions being legal.

So you see that it’s reasonable to place the rights of the mother ahead of the rights of the fetus?

My issue with the pro life argument is more financial rather than moral. So again I just don't opine. It sux either way.

Nope. If you're talking about both people being healthy, there is no way to rationally justify killing either of them.

I don't think a financial situation is ever a good reason to kill an innocent person.

Taking out your exceptions for health-issues and failed contraception, what part of "the woman already exercised her right to do what she wanted with her body by choosing to have unprotected sex or take the necessary after-sex action" do you argue?

No I mean this:

You ban abortions. But they will still happen.

Rich: Go to Canada and get it done.
Poor: Go to some underground doctor and likely risk both mother and child.

Anyone know how long Dino is suspended for?
Normally, suspensions are a week...maybe that has changed.

So the mom has no right to determine what happens to her body?

I think you’re on the fringe here. The vast majority (EDIT 80% per Gallup 2017) of Americans support abortion rights up to some point.

Until there is consensus on when life begins this debate is pointless.
