ive been watching some pieces lately about RFK and it made me wonder..what would have happened to the usa and the world if was not shot. and he became president.

1. it seems likely he would have brought the vietnam war to an end.
2. maybe he would have opened china instead of nixon
3. he would have used the money saved from the war to invest in education and medical care..esp in inner cities.
4. john lennon would have become a citizen right away and maybe the beatles would have stayed together.
5. he would have fired hoover.
6. he would have helped facilitate more progress with racial integration........he would have tried to walk in the shoes MLK.
7. he would have brought more african americans and women into the federal govt then ever before
8. he would have had a far more ethical admin then lbj or nixon and set higher standards for ethics
9. he would have reopened the jfk investigation and let the chips fall where they may.
10. he would have insisted on a top notch justice dept that raised the bar
overall i think he would have been the president until 1976 and i think that 1976 instead of 1980 would have been the year of Reagan.

There is irony in that Dino seems not to get that HE is power tripping about "his thread" and feels it is just fine for him to censor any post HE deems appropriate and even banish people from posting. That kind of ego is in direct alignment with our feckless POTUS.
